Mersey Yacht Club Membership

Membership Fees 2018-19

Senior - $310.00
For persons 18 years or over. It enables the holder to the following privileges:

  • Allows full voting rights
  • Involvements in the sailing program
  • Access to the use of the Slipway and Marina
  • Use of all club facilities
  • Recreational Boat Ramp sticker (if required)

Family - $370.00
For families of at least one parent or guardian and his/her children who are under 18 years of age or full time bone-fide students under the age of 25 years. It enables the holder to the following privileges:

  • Allows a maximum of one senior member in the 'family unit' full voting rights
  • Involvements in the sailing program
  • Access to the use of the Slipway and Marina
  • Use of all club facilities
  • Recreational Boat Ramp sticker (if required)

Crew - $185.00
Available to members who wish only to crew on vessels registered on the club Boat Register. These members shall be entitled to use of the club bar and change room facilities. "Crew" members cannot own vessels on the club boat register.

Recreational Boat User - $185.00
This membership will be available to members who wish only to use the club boat ramp to launch and retrieve recreational trailerable boats, and the bar and changing facilities. It does not allow voting rights or the use of club keys. Members must affix stickers designating this category to trailers at all times.

Out of Ports - $185.00
Designed for people where their principle place of residence exceeds 80kms form the Devonport Post Offie.

Veteran - $185.00
For people over the age of 65 years.

(Above all include Yachting Australia Membership)

Associate Member - $55.00
This is a "social" Membership designed for people only wanting access to the club bar facilities and social functions. It does not allow voting rights or access to the club boat ramps. It enables the holder use of the club bar and change room facilities.

Junior Member - $55.00
For juniors under the age of 18 years and bone-fide full times students. (Student id required). It enables the holder to the following privileges:

  • Involvements in the sailing program
  • Use of all club facilities
